What is a CEN Rating?
Introduced to establish a standard for padlocks, CEN ratings ensure the correct padlock is specified for the job in hand. To guarantee products are tested accurately, ratings are issued by an independent testing body. Padlocks, therefore, must pass a number of comprehensive tests to meet the standards, so check the CEN rating logo to ensure your padlock is fit for purpose.
